Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is "a profession wherein which the practitioner applies manual techniques, and may apply adjunctive therapies, with intent on positively affecting the health and overall well-being of the patient."

Massage therapy can improve function of the muscular, skeletal, lymphatic, circulatory and nervous systems and may also improve the rate in which the body can recover from illness and injury. Massage involves holding, applying pressure to the body and causing movement of the soft tissue.
